UNIPRO ASSISTS J3 IN THE RIGHT WAY!

March 3rd, 2011

Data StationData Station At the recent Florida Winter Tour event in Palm Beach, Florida, J3 Competition implemented an improved and evolved data collection and analization program.  The program is first highlighted by the usefull data gathered using the UNIPRO 6003 system.  From here, the data is downloaded to dedicated CPU's that are then viewed on dedicated monitors at the Race Department  data station.

Not only has the focus been on UNIPRO, but the systems innerworkings, including the implementation of 'split' times on all drivers data systems at the exact 'key' spots.  The ability to minipulate the split points allowed data to be overlayed and thus improving the decision making processes.

The data collected was seen firstly with the seinor drivers whereby  Palmer and DeGrand achieve speed that was astonishing. In addition the Race Department was able to utilize the UNIPRO 'ext box' which further allowed the analyzing of steering, throttle, and brake inputs on DeGrand's chassis.  These new sensors will be something the team will implement across the board in the coming months.

"Using such a functional system to collect data along with its streamlined hardware is really allowing not only our Race Department, but all our UNIPRO clientsth ability to gather necessary data", commented Team Manager. "As we move forward into 2011 we will only upgrade and further our data processes as we look to pass this knowledge to all our clients."
