J3 Competition Prepares for Pan Am Mosport
After completing a successful test at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT last weekend the J3 Competition Race Department crossed the North American continent covering over 2,000 miles in order to prepare for the upcoming Pan American event in Mosport, Canada. J3 Competition looks to enter a total of four official drivers which include Andrew Palmer and Tristan DeGrand in Max Sr. with Canadian Alex Guenette in Max Jr. and Michael d’Orlando in Micro Max.
Having continually progressed through the 2011 season, the duo of DeGrand and Palmer will look to take recent knowledge gained as they compete in a stout international field. With over thirty top-level drivers expected to be competing on the fast and highly technical circuit in Mosport, the action will prove exciting as well as being a good test ground for the team as it moves closer toward the US Nationals in Utah.
Having taken an impressive win at the opening Pan Am event in Homestead, FL, Alex Guenette will look to add to his building resume in 2011 at Mosport. Guenette will be officially qualified for the Pan Am final in New Castle in September and will also gain qualification points for the Canadian Nationals later this summer in Mt. Tremblant in his hunt to head to the Rotax World Finals later in the year.
Newcomer Michael d’Orlando will officially move into the team’s infrastructure starting at Mosport and will look to move through the rest of the season working with technician and J3 Competition dealer Blake Wankowski aboard J3 Competition livery.
J3 Competition Race Department is exclusively utilizing the 2011 Kosmic Racing Kart line coupled with Supertune USA powered Rotax engines and Unipro data logging systems in the 2011 FWT series.
